We invite you to join us for this event in Orlando, Florida. The audience will include Nursing Home Administrators, DONs, Nurse Managers, Risk Managers, Social Workers, Therapy staff and MDS Coordinators.

Event Overview:

This workshop will help nursing homes identify ways to improve both their short stay and long stay quality measures and review the sections of the MDS where the data comes from for each of the measures used in the CMS 5 star rating. This workshop will review the long term quality measures Medicaid uses to determine your PPS reimbursement incentive payments.

In addition the workshop will review best practices in the following areas:
-Documentation in the medical record
-Developing a plan of correction following a CMS survey
-Writing an investigation report for an adverse incident
-Preparing an independent dispute resolution document

Join Connie Cheren, RN, MSW, LeadingAge Florida’s Regulatory and Compliance Specialist at this workshop and learn from her extensive regulatory knowledge and the insights she’s gained from working with over 3,000 nursing homes.
