What You Need to Know: PDPM/Medicare Reimbursement Changes and How to Achieve Medicaid Quality Points Workshop

This workshop will address the proposed upcoming changes in Medicaid reimbursement from a cost-based reimbursement model to a prospective payment system and how understanding the quality measures can positively impact the per patient day reimbursement. The proposed Medicare reimbursement methodology revisions under PDPM will also be reviewed, as well as the billing process. 

Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the proposed Medicaid prospective payment model and how reimbursement is determined
2. Identify innovative ways to address the quality measures to achieve the maximum quality points available
3. Understand the proposed changes to Medicare reimbursement methodology

Registration Fees:
LeadingAge Florida member early discount rate is $150 and prospective member rate is $250, ends November 8. After November 8, rates increase by $50. Includes lunch and educational materials, and a certificate of attendance.

LeadingAge Florida is providing up to 6 contact hours of credit for nursing home administrators, nurses and clinical social workers licensed in Florida.

Cancellations/Refunds/Substitutions: There is a $50 administrative fee for each cancellation or refund. All cancellations must be in writing. Substitutions will be accepted at no additional fee. Due to costs incurred related to the workshop, no refunds will be issued after  November 1, 2018. All cancellations and substitution requests must be sent to or faxed to (850) 671-3790.

Scholarships Available
The Scott Boord Career Development Scholarship Program gives members an opportunity to attend Aging Services programs and education events for those that otherwise would be unable to participate because of financial limitations.
